About this resource

Through pausing to reflect on how the unique life experiences of students and their families shape how they engage with the school community, and identifying how to best respond, teachers can support all students and families to feel valued and included.
Download our Pause, Reflect, Include poster to serve as a visual reminder to support your journey in creating an inclusive school community.
You can also take the Pause, Reflect, Include challenge, an online self-reflection tool, and receive personalized feedback on what you or your school do well, and to identify what specific actions you could take to strengthen the way you or your school include those within your school community.
